It’s the first Saturday in October, and that means all across the country, people are walking, running and biking in mass numbers to raise awareness for breast cancer, as well as raising money for a host of breast cancer research and support organizations. Today’s pink pick(s) – plural, because I couldn’t pick just one thing- come from AVON, one of the leading supporters and hosts of breast cancer walks nationwide.
All of the net proceeds from the sale of Avon Walk for Breast Cancer merchandise (57% of the purchase price of the HOT Pink tshirt featured on the left) are donated to the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to support access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer.
