Sold as dietary supplement, a new kind of “super-fruit” and healthy antioxidant, the Acai Berry is now available in a multitude of forms – everything from pills, to juices, energy drinks & smoothie mixes, body detox cleanses, gummy candies to herbal teas – all made of natural extracts from the “Acai Palm”.
The Acai Berry fruit comes from Brazil, and has had a variety of traditional food uses, mostly for flavorings, but adding a significant protein to Brazilian diets.
