Just wanted to give a quick shout out to my friends @DempseyCenter (follow them on Twitter) in Lewiston, Maine – they’re raising money for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Hope & Healing at CMMC this weekend in the 2nd Annual Dempsey Challenge. I first wrote about my personal experience with the Dempsey Center, and Patrick’s amazing sister Mary Dempsey, who runs the center, back in September 2009, shortly after my father passed away from cancer.
