I just wanted to take a couple minutes to explain what this feature is, as you’ll be seeing it every day in October. It is a feature that grew to become fairly popular in the previous version of this site.  The 2009 #BCAM (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) Daily Pink Pick highlights a single pink ribbon product or corporation which raises awareness for breast cancer or makes a donation to a breast cancer research organization or related charity.

I’ve chosen items in the past from every possible category – pink ribbon clothing, breast cancer awareness jewelry, pink kitchen accessories, make-up & beauty aids, sports equipment to collectible, inspirational figurines and gifts. I try to find pink ribbon products that are fun, useful, and supportive of the cause, or that may simply put a smile on a breast cancer survivor or someone affected by the disease. You just never know what I’m going to pull out next!

I’ve already highlighted the very popular 2009 Guess Breast Cancer Awareness Watch, so you won’t see that appearing in the daily pink picks this year. But get ready to shop till we drop breast cancer!
